PHYT for Function Lakewood is Cleveland's direct-access physical and occupational therapy and fitness studio, located inside the Screw Factory. No referral needed. Our team of physical and occupational therapists, personal trainers, and group fitness coaches work together under one roof, so you never have to start over as your goals change. Whether you're recovering from an injury, working through daily pain, building strength, or training for performance, we help you move better, feel better, and build the confidence to keep doing the things you love. One space, one team, everything you need to get back to your life.
What to Expect for Rehab & Recovery:

Full Body Assessment – We don’t just treat the symptom. We assess how your whole body moves to find what’s really causing the problem.

One-on-One Treatment – Every session is personalized and led by a licensed physical or occupational therapist using advanced techniques like dry needling, cupping, and joint mobilization.

At-Home Game Plan – You'll leave each session with the tools and knowledge to stay pain-free long after your visit.
Group Fitness

We have classes Monday- Friday at 5:30 am, 6:30 am, 11:00 am, 4:30 pm, 5:30 pm, and 6:30 pm as well as Saturday at 8 am and 9 am

Meet Your PHYT Practitioners:
Cara Bacher, OTR/L, CIDN, NRT – Expert in treating sports performance optimization and sport-specific rehabilitation to help active adults continue to do what they love. Cara specializes in dry needling and is a National Instructor for the Integrative Dry Needling Institute.
Phil Weigel, Director of Training – Phil offers individualized coaching in-person at Lakewood or monthly remote programming that can be completed anywhere!
We proudly serve the Northeast Ohio region including Cleveland, Tremont, Ohio City, Lakewood, Rocky River, West Park and surrounding Cleveland suburbs.
There are private parking lots surrounding the building. Enter through the southern door and make your way down the hallway on the first floor (just follow the signs)!
Conveniently located off the Bunts Road exit of I-90. Featuring private parking lot out front of the building. Use the southern entrance of the Screw Factory and make your way down the hall of the first floor.
